Story
Meningitis is a life threatening disease that not many people are aware of. The symptoms of meningitis are similar to common flu and therefore it is hard to be recognised at an early stage.
This year i have decided to run Bath Half in order to help raise awareness about this terrible decease as well as raise funds to help decrease number of people suffering from meningitis. I have never been a long distance runner so running 21 km will definitely be a challenge and i need all your support to help me get through this last month of intense training.
I am running in a memory of Georgia Tait who i didn't know personally but was a close friend of a friend and was a victim of Meningitis. You can read her story here: http://meningitisnowforeverfunds.tributefunds.com/GeorgiaFrancesTait and her story is not unique.
